We started Call and Crawl because every pest control owner we talked to was running the same broken stack: a dated CRM from the 2000s, a separate texting app, a Mailchimp account nobody logged into, an answering service that forwarded voicemails they never listened to, and a yellow pad next to the phone for the calls that came in anyway. The techs were in the truck. The phone was ringing. The calls were being missed.
Generic home-services software did not fix that problem. It just gave shops a nicer-looking version of the same stack. The incumbents in pest software were too big and too slow to rebuild around AI. And nobody was talking to PCOs the way PCOs actually talk — about callbacks, swarm season, route density, termite bonds, quarterlies, and the ten-cent margin that route-day drive time eats.
